Yogafy Privacy Policy

Effective date: 20 October 2026

Yogafy is an iOS yoga fitness guide published by Trainify Labs Inc. This policy describes the app's data uses and the choices available to you.

Children

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yogafy. Onboarding asks you to select an age group. Selecting Under 13 shows this restriction and disables Continue. The restriction uses the age group you select during onboarding.

Account, practice and purchase data

Yogafy stores practice data on your phone. Account and sync features use Supabase for authentication, profile information, plans and practice history.

Depending on what you provide, profile data can include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, physical measurements, goals and preferences. Practice records include session results and fitness information.

RevenueCat processes purchase history and identifiers to check subscription access. Account and purchase processing are separate from the optional analytics and AI choices. Data can be linked to account or device identifiers.

Camera, speech and recording

  • Camera analysis: Yogafy asks for separate consent and iOS camera permission. Frames stay in temporary on-device analysis. This path does not upload camera frames or video.
  • Speech recognition: This optional feature requires separate consent and iOS microphone and speech permissions. Apple Speech may process audio remotely. Yogafy does not store microphone audio. The current transcript clears when listening stops. Questions can reach AI services only with separate AI sharing consent.
  • Screen recording: Recording is off by default. With recording consent and Photos permission, ReplayKit records the screen, including the camera preview and app audio. The microphone stays off. Yogafy saves the video to Photos and does not upload it. Your Photos settings may sync it to iCloud. Temporary recording output is removed after save or cancellation.

Optional AI sharing

With your consent, selected text and practice metrics go through an authenticated Supabase proxy to Google Gemini for plans, coaching and answers. This can include your name, plan answers, questions and session results. ElevenLabs turns speech text into audio. Camera frames and videos do not enter this AI path.

You can decline AI sharing and use curated plans, bundled coaching lines and system speech. Revoking consent cancels active requests and discards late responses. Requests already received by a provider cannot be recalled.

Optional analytics

When configured and only with analytics consent, PostHog receives app interactions, session totals, purchase events, identifiers and app/device metadata. Profile answers are not sent to PostHog. Session replay stays disabled. Yogafy has no advertising identifier, advertising integration or data broker sharing.

Revoking analytics consent stops new app events and cancels active transport requests. Events already received cannot be recalled. Previously authorized queued events can retry if you later grant consent again.

Your choices

Settings > Privacy lists separate choices for camera analysis, speech recognition, recording, analytics and AI sharing. Turning a choice on opens its disclosure. Only Allow grants consent. You can turn each choice off there. iOS system permissions remain separate. Tap controls remain available when speech recognition is off.

Retention and deletion

Camera frames are temporary. Local consent choices remain until account deletion or app removal. Account and session rows remain for the account's lifetime. Signed-in consent receipts can remain queued locally; this client does not claim that every receipt reaches the server.

Use Settings > Privacy > Delete my data on this phone to remove local practice data and consent choices. This local action leaves your account available and does not erase server records.

Use Profile > Delete Account or Settings > Delete Account to request deletion of the account and its owned Supabase rows. The app clears local consent and credentials after successful deletion. If the request fails, the app shows an error so you can retry.

You can delete your account with an active subscription. Before deletion, the app warns that account deletion does not cancel the App Store subscription. It explains how to cancel in iPhone Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Choose Continue to delete the account, or Cancel to keep it. Without an active subscription, the app shows the normal deletion confirmation.

Delete saved recordings separately in Photos, including Recently Deleted. Deleting your account does not delete Photos videos or cancel an Apple subscription.

Where retention is not controlled by Yogafy's code, it is set by the provider's terms. This includes provider processing, operational logs and backups. Account deletion does not automatically erase data already received by external AI or analytics providers. This app has no external-provider erasure integration. We do not promise a fixed expiry or immediate removal from those systems.
